The Pre-order deal on steam ends on february 1st so I am tempted to buy it this weekend. The deal for pre-ordering seems a bit lame though (ingame credit and free copy of GTA SA) so I was wondering if any of you know of any better deals?

I had it on pre-order since last June on fast2play but they contacted me recently to say that the boxed copy serial key that they were going to send me would not work on Steam. I got a refund on that though

Also - pre-orders are the devil. Always. Even for games that we know will be good when they're eventually fixed like GTA.

I shall not be preordering, the state of games in the past year should be a good indication of whats wrong with the industry and consumers. Plus GTA is always a mess on release.

Ignoring idiots who comment "far right" because they don't even know what it means

Pre-ordering needs to die. Can't see it happening though.

Not a fan of pre orders and wont be pre ordering myself but that $500,000 for the online is pretty handy.

The online segment of the game is very grindy imo, bought a supercar the other day on PS4 for $725,000. Max payout from the current mission system is €30,000 from survival missions(10 waves of enemies to survive),each of these missions could take 20 mins to complete. Most other missions only pay between $10000-$20000. In between missions re filling ammo, buying armor, paying for vehicles that get blown up etc etc costs a lot so it takes a long time to get the sort of money the higher end vehicles cost. I got the game as a gift, was pre ordered for me so i got the bonus and have to say it really helps.

I believe this is all designed to get players to use real money for in game credits, and its blindingly obvious.

I am enjoying the game on PS4,and ill be getting it for PC as well but it is irritating how they make online such a grind. Oh and loading times are horrific on PS4 so reckon ill be getting this onto an SSD. 65GB is rather large though so a new SSD may be in order!
