As above, I need just the glass for the drivers mirror for a 2003 Alfa Romeo 156.

Any ideas on where to get it in Limerick?
Can't gey it from the breakers as they'll only want to sell a whole mirror.

    Thanks

Autobreak told me yesterday that they don't break Alfa Romeos anymore. Thanks for trying though.

    LINK

Micksgarage are great for these. Just check I used correct model in the search.

On a side note, my dads drive side mirror was smashed the other day, just the glass. I ordered it off micksgarage for €20 ish. It was a 2002 saab 95 and when he rang the Saab dealer they gave a whopping price of €240 for just the glass, they actually had to ring their headquarters to query it as they thought it was an error on the system but it was the genuine price for just the glass. Still cant get my head around it.

You may be able to pick one up from your local motor factors - we've got them before when we've been in a rush, and it's usually a clip in job. Think the last one was about €30, for a new enough A6.

You should be able to get a piece of mirror at a motor factors that will stick on over the existing one.

Halfords normally have these for around about €20.

I am in the same situation myself. I just bought an 03 E200 and the driver side mirror glass for some reason is tinted kind of yellow/brown, like its covered in nicotine, so I want replace it and the breakers want to sell a whole mirror to me for €100. I might just go the ebay route, costing around €30.

Edit: apparently with my mirror, it's an auto-dim feature. But I don't think it should be that colour in the day. Maybe I will need a new mirror after all.

Just ensure it's only the plastic clip assembly on the glass side that's broken.
If any of the plastic on the 'Frame' side is broken you may need to replace the whole lot as the glass won't clip on properly.
