Bricked my Lenovo a806 trying to load a new rom onto it.

    Help needed please.

Im big trouble here folks. I foolishly tried to load a new rom onto my lenovo a806 phone because i dont like the default rom and now all that is popping up is the lenovo welcome screen. Its not loading android at all.

Ive searched online desperately for a solution but im just getting lost in the woods with all the information.

The problem with this phone is that its chinese and is only for the chinese market which makes restoring it that bit harder.

I have tried following the instructions here to restore things to the way it was but id probably need someone who is someway familiar with this process to help me step by step. I thought it would be more straightforward then it was and that i had followed the correct procedure involved but clearly not.

Help would be very much appreciated :) Thanks in advance

Ive downloaded this software but its only a question of what files to load and boxes to tick really. The scatter file that needrom suggested is giving an error message and im not actually sure as to what download agent to submit.

Hi tipp, I'm no expert but have flashed Samsungs many times.

Perhaps you could run us through the process you followed before the error, and link to any guide online you were following?

The thing is Santa i followed quite a few guides online. I shouldnt have went near it i didnt know what i was at. i think i may have flashed the wrong 'download agent' in SP Flash tool. Thats when the problem occured.

I'll have a look for the proper files when I'm near a computer

Managed to get it going again :) I used a better flash tool (MTK) which seemed to do the trick. Thanks everyone for their replies
