Mens Hair Stylist

    Hi,

I'm useless when it comes to hair - so please excuse my ignorance. I have no idea what way I should style my hair and as a result I have a very messy haircut - its not far off a hitler comb-over.

I normally go to a barbers but I would like to go to a hair dresser/stylist who could basically tell me what haircut I should have and cut it for me. The only description I could give is business casual with low maintenance - would I get a sigh with such a description?

My OH prefers my hair longer rather than shorter but I imagine that always means higher maintenance?

I work in the city center around St. Stephen's green but I don't mind travelling if worth it.
I assume I would be better off going into a hair dresser rather than a barber?
If yes, is there any in particular I should go to? Peter Marks?
When booking do I tell them I am looking for someone to give me a style as such or is that expected?

Again, apologies for the questions - I am clueless when it comes to hair!

    Thanks for any help.
