    The white cover on the cable to my iPhone charger is damaged & the wires are exposed. Can I be electrocuted If I touch the bare wires & if so will it be as serious as with a bigger " real" electric cable!?

    It won't electrocute you,OP, but it will cause your phone to charge slower because the electricity will leak out of the hole in the cable.

    Just get a new cable?

    Urinate on the cable only when you're sure the cable is live.
    Just keep your willy 1 centimeter away and aim stream at cable.
