HDMI Switch Two Resolutions ??

Ok i've trawled eBay, Amazon etc. but can't really find what I'm looking for .

I have a 1680 * 1050 computer monitor and 1080P Samsung TV. I am looking for a Switch, not Splitter, so at the flick of a button I can turn over to the TV for gaming.

I understand that I will have to power off the computer for the switch .

I hope this makes scene ;P

Assuming your graphics card has both DVI and HDMI outputs (and your monitor has a DVI input and your TV has a HDMI input), simply connect a DVI cable to your monitor and a HDMI cable to your TV at the same time.

It's a Palit gtx 970 . The dvi port is used for the monitor and the hdmi is a mini hdmi. I can always get a converter. Will nvidia let me select only one monitor for the display. The motherboard also has hdmi for on board gfx
