Hi i was wondering when a meter is estimated and then read the next time does the amount be deducted off the read bill? or does the ESB hold onto the money?

    Hello Mike.

If a bill is over-estimated and paid, and the next bill is based on a meter-reading, the over-payment is automatically taken off the read bill.

Any over-payment beyond an actual bill is only credited to the customer's account.

    Regards,
    Una
