Is it Illegal to slag off someone's Religion?

    If some bloke you don't know was trying to convince you he was totally honest and he tells you he receives communion every week is it illegal to flippantly tell him that you know loads of people who get communion every day and they are terrible liars?

    That's not slagging the religion though. Just giving a rebuttal to his insinuation that he must be honorable because he partakes in the body of his deity.

    The defamation act 2009 makes blasphemy punishable by a fine of up to 25k but I believe in the history of the state no one has ever been found guilty of blasphemy.
