Recessed Light Cover

Just wondering what people are using to cover the recessed lights in the attic with?

I recently installed a number of recessed GU10 led lights through out the house and before the insulation is put back in place over the lights i need to get covers to fit over the light fittings.

The specific covers for the purpose are quiet expensive, just wondering if anyone is aware of a suitable alternative?

4" ducting if possible on top floor cut down on amount of caps needed

I've heard of people using clay plant pots

    Just wondering if any needed?
LEDs give out virtually no heat.
    Why not cover directly?
    (or am I missing something?)

They'd be better but not exempt
