Can anyone recommend PLC courses in computing and pharmaceutical science for me?

Here's my situation, I'm currently in 6th year studying for my leaving cert, my intention is to move on and get a bachelor degree, and potentially a post-graduate degree in either computing, computer science or pharmaceutical science. Unfortunately, due to battling with depression for a large chunk of the year, I've missed a fairly large chunk of school, I don't feel I'm going to catch up enough to get the points I need no matter how hard I try at this point, and due to missing such a large chunk, I'm not quite sure if I'm ready to go into third level if I miraculously do anyway, so even though I've applied to the CAO, I've pretty much made up my mind, no matter what, I'm pretty much aiming to do a PLC course in September. Anyway, I'm living in Dublin, I'm looking to apply for courses that will link me into a degree in computing or pharmaceutical science. Has anyone got any recommendations? Thank you.
Edit: Also, I really can't guarantee not getting an abysmal leaving cert, the requirement for most PLC courses is simply sitting the leaving cert, and points or passes are only on a few courses I've seen, I'm nearly sure I've even heard of people being accepted before sitting the leaving cert, do most of them take into account your leaving cert results or just the fact you've sat it?

For PLC courses it's mostly the interview is taken into account. At that they will assess whether you will be able for the course, will give it a good go and are likely to finish it.

Qualifax is probably your best bet for searching for a course.

Have you investigated DARE in relation to your depression?

I've investigated DARE before, as I also suffer from Asperger's Syndrome in addition to depression(they're both somewhat related I believe), but unfortunately, the college I'm mainly interested in (IT Tallaght) doesn't participate in the DARE program, and even with the reduced points from DARE, at this point, I don't think I could make them up anyway. But thank you for the suggestion anyway. Truthfully, at this point, I think I'd rather do a PLC first to get a taste of what I'm getting myself into, while I've done a small bit of computer programming and the likes, and I've done some research on pharmaceutical science, I really only have a small grasp on what they'd entail, in a way I'd rather do a PLC even if I do get the points for that reason, and of course, doing a related PLC would definitely give me the boost when I do start my degree, and I don't want to be one of those people who just passes everything and barely walks out with a degree, I want to do well and have a degree that actually means something.
Probably a somewhat idiotic question, but would I be right in assuming I can apply for as many PLC courses as I want? Obviously I can only take one, but would it just be as simple as going to the interview for all of them and then picking whichever one I want(assuming I get more than one offer) when it comes to it?

Yes, apply for as many as you like. Get to as many of the Open Days as you can and track down the people running the courses you are most interested in.
