Nothing very significant happening AFAIK. Just the usual TV3,tabloid, Paul Williams, hangers on trying to make mountains out of molehills.

There's been two recent shooting incidents , one on Thomond Bridge another on Island Rd. and also a fracas on New Years eve at Cruises St. Younger members of both sides have been goading each other online etc. This coincides with the release from prison recently of Kieran and Eddie Ryan Jr., sons of the slain Eddie Ryan.

Some of the lads they say are involved here you wouldn't trust with a spud gun, not to mind a real gun. People are throwing shapes, that's the extent of it. Come out to the Northside of Limerick before you make any comment, I'm sure the sun still rises in the morning and sets at night.

Pro-tip - some of us are on the North side. And a bit shortsighted to assume we don't know the people involved, Limerick is a very small place after all

I know the "innocent member of the public" caught up in the Thomond bridge incident, there was actually two of them in the car at the time, got quite the fright they did.
