So we are now keen on an old two bed detached house in need of refurbishment. We are thinking of making an offer but what questions should we be asking and what should we be looking out for. We have mortgage approval. The house has an asking price of 55k.

Who is selling it, can they prove they have "good title".
What are the local area plans like can you do the work you want to do will you get planning permission. Is there about to be a road build over the house......
