    According to Amazon it's locked to O2 UK. Don't know how easy or costly it is to unlock. Hopefully, it's not too much because it is a lot of phone for your money.

    I thought it was locked to contract, but there is an option to get the phone only?

    I'm going through the process now. Also says this offer is only available to people in the UK.

    Hardware wise it looks superb but unfortunately it would seem the software is terrible looking at the reviews ,most of which are negative.

    There are no unlock codes on ebay so its a dead duck for use over here .

    If it was unlocked, I'd buy it, and may regret it.
    Thankfully it's locked to O2, which helped make my decison for me.

    I've a feeling that this 'fire sale' will also flop, and the unlocked version will be available for the same price or cheaper soon enough.

    EDIT - Also, you need to use Parcel Motel to get it.

    They're more than likely doing this to try and get rid of the massive stock they have of them laying around after it absolutely failed at launch.

    The phone has huge potential and Google Play Store can be loaded it seems .
    Pity its locked to O2 as I'd take a punt on it but I'd probably end up tearing out large chunks of my hair.
