Just wondering, looking at requirements theres something about a medical form to be filled in.

Its not very clear on if you need it or not, some websites say you need it and others say its only if youre over 70 or if you have a medical condition/disability

Could someone clear this up for me? It would be much appreciated.

What websites are you going to? The official one is ndls.ie

    https://www.ndls.ie/how-to-apply.html

There information in that link on how to apply for a license, what forms you need, including medical reports & who needs to submit them.

Your application must be accompanied by a medical report if you:

    - Are applying for a learner permit or Driving licence in any of the categories C1, C, D1, D, CE1, CE, DE1 or DE.
    - Will be 70 years of age or more on the first day of the period for which the licence or Learner Permit is being granted.
    - Suffer from certain disabilities or diseases (Link to specified diseases and disabilities)
    - Have ever suffered from alcoholism or epilepsy
    - Are taking, on a regular basis, drugs or medication which would be likely to make you an unsafe driver

As you're going for a Car license (Cat B) then no you won't need to submit a med form for point 1, so unless you meet one of the other points then no you won't need too.

You need an eye test though.
