Hello everyone and happy new year,

I contact you to know what is the best option for the tax credits. My wife and I are in Ireland since July 2014.

    Our situation :

    My salary : 27 000 euros
    Wife's salary : 21 500 euros

We have each of us our personal tax credit 1650 euros and we can share 3300 euros.

Before it was 4950 euros on my salary and 1650 euros on my wife's salary.

I think it's better to put 3300 euros on mine and 3300 euros on her salary.

    What do you think ?

Thank you for your help, it's not very easy for a foreigner to understand the Irish system at the beginning.

It doesn't matter as you guys pay the same rate of tax.
