Liquidation questions

My girlfriend is an employee in a company that is going into liquidation (according to the owners). Usually she makes daily lodgements to the local bank, but since hearing this news the owners have been in collecting the days takings. They are, and have been, running a CLOSING DOWN SALE, and the fear is that they are swindling my girlfriend here, it sounds extremely suspicious. Also, she was only given two weeks notice on this, as well as the owners planning a trip abroad at the time they plan to close. I'm sure this is wrong on several levels. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Report it to Revenue, DSP, Dept of Enterprise. All will be interested. Make sure you fill out the story of what is happening with the fullest details. If your GF is well known to the bank staff, she could enquire if any lodgments have been made recently.
