Great deal for someone that has been planning to get one of these.

All shops in Ireland are 399+ for the 16GB model.

Delivery to Ireland is just under €9 and takes a week (ordered from there before).

Great tablet, love my Nexus 7 though.

That's about as good a price as I've seen, well aside from Dixon's at the airport but of course that isn't ideal for most.

This + a Chromecast would be heaven!

I've seen 3 of them in-store and all of them had pretty major light bleed on different sides of the panel. This issue has been reported on nearly every review I've read online. Even the new batches seem to have it apparently.

have the nexus 7 and although a good tablet, the battery life is pretty poor. a couple of hours on youtube/gaming and its dead. absolutely has to be charged every night.

thinking of moving back towards ipad (I know).

the nexus 7 2013 has pretty good battery life in my experience. I'd say 7/8 hours video playback. obviously an intensive 3d game will reduce that.

Think I may have one of the newer batches, heard issues with battery too, but I get in and around 8-9 hours watching stuff off VLC player which seems grand to me.

Would have liked if there was a HDMI out from the get go though

I really wanted one if these and had high hopes with HTC making it.. The HTC one m8 is brilliant but I ended up getting a tab s 10.1 and to be fair the screen is awesome on it.. Wish it was vanilla android or at least easier to flash cm etc but the screen can really make or break a tablet..
