Hi all, I have a primastar van with 195/65/16 tyres on it that need changing , I have a set of alloys in the shed that came off a 3 series bmw with new 205 /55/16 tyres on them ... Question is, can i take tyres off alloys and fit on van wheels or will there be an issue with height/width difference .. Dont want to put alloys on van so if tyres can switch over so best! Cheers!

You need commercial tyres for a van its a doe failure if they are not properly rated for the size of van.

yeah more than likely its only 10mm higher on the sidewall and 10mm wider but car tyres are not designed for carrying any weight.
