I have been recieving letters from a solicitors on behalf of my bank threatening repossession. I made an agreement with the bank last year to pay €500 per month until i finish college (42% of my income). I missed one payment in sept last year but have made all other payments. They are now demanding payment of the full Mortgage. I cannot afford to hire a solicitor or make any other contributions other than the €500 per month (and believe me that is a stretch)
i know personal insolvency is my besg bet but i just dont have the money for it!
is there anything i can do to get them off my back? Im a mature student in receipt of back to education allowance and have a part time job. I am pregnant and have no other means of increasing my income.
Any ideas? Im at my wits end here!

MABS or FLAC (google them) may be able to assist.

I try and resist the urge to admonish you over becoming a student with a mortgage to pay but you really need to get the situation resolved if you are expecting a child. Again not an ideal situation if you're not in a financial situation to provide but none of my business.

Best of luck and I hope it gets resolved.

You need a solicitor to advise you.

If you can't afford a solicitor you should apply for civil legal aid.

There is some other general advice here.
