Perhaps this is just a job I should stay away from as I'm doing it for someone else.

The wireless is working intermittently - majority of the time it shows no networks....wireless switch is turned on, troubleshooted connection etc.

When I tried to install SP1 for windows 7 I got memory errors 0x8007000e. When I tried memtest (mini windows xp) I got an out of memory error straight away.

I tried another ram stick from another computer with first removed - but the same error. Tried different slots etc. with just one chip at a time.

    Should I conclude motherboard?
