Recording from Sattelite receiver

    I have a Humax HD satellite receiver - it does not have an inbuilt HDD - and when I connect it directly to my (rarely used) Sony DVD/HDD recorder by Scart - I cannot get it to record either on DVD or HDD. There is no HDMI socket on the DVD/HDD recorder. Suggestions please as to how I can make a successful connection. Thanks!:o

    Have you selected the correct input source on the hdd recorder?

    What inputs and outputs are available on the recorder?

    if its a hd satbox more likely external powered hard drive by usb then.

    I occasionally use a Sony HDD/DVD recorder to record from a Humax iCord satellite receiver without problem.
