I have a Sky hd box in the sitting room , Free chanel's no subscription, Will this magic eye in the bed room work the box in the sitting room.

The 'magic eye' is just an IR sensor & an RF sender, to get the remote control signal back to the Sky box in another room, using the same cable that carries the picture & sound from the Sky box.

In other words, this coaxial cable has to be in place between the Sky box & the TV in the other room, & the Sky box needs to have either a built in modulator (RF1, RF2, aerial-in sockets on rear) or, latest boxes without these sockets, need the 'IO Link' add-on.
