Looking for someone to help me write articles for food / entertainment website

    Hi,
There's a food/entertainment web site that I would like to write articles for this coming year. I submitted some ideas. They replied asking me to write one article and send it in. Now I have really realised why I did pass English for the leaving cert, I struggle with writing about ideas/topics as I feel I repeat myself a lot and my wording can be limited.

Would any one know of a person or group I could ask to help me out (for a fee), please?

    Thanks very much,

You're looking for a proof-reader? Maybe ask one of your friends who's good at that sort of thing.

Or try a grammar book to help you out.

The only thing that will improve your writing is to practice. No editor is going to write a thing for you. If you outsource the writing, then you're not writing it. It would also be very costly if someone would go for that and let you put your name on the article.

Sit down and write and see how it goes. I'll bet it's not as bad as you're imagining.

I'd be glad to proof read an article or two for you and provide suggestions and insights. Feel free to message me with whatever you've got!

This was my dilemma sometime ago. If you can't find someone who could proofread your article then I think you need to read and practice more.
