No, you don't have to wait for June. You can organise an exam through an online exam centre.

    F1 - F4 can be taken monthly.

If your planning to do F1-F3, pick a centre where they do the CBE and do them a week or so apart from each other so that you have a week between each one to Revise, i.e. F1 start of June, F2 mid June, F3 end of June, depending on how strong you think you are and time you want to get the 3 of them done by.

Of course you can start the ball rolling by doing them quicker than that.

Thinking its probably best to, read F1 book then do exam, then read F2 book & do exam etc - have kaplan books, seems to be a lot in each of them

The books can be intimidating...with a lot of unnecessary background information...Try and do a summary of each chapter and do questions on that section so to get an understanding. Maybe a revision course with tuition providers for F2 / F3 might be helpful. Lecturers can be useful also if you come unstuck on a technical topic in F2 / F3.

F1 is all theory.....its really boring but a lot of common sense is involved.

F2 & F3 aren't walk in the parks that some people might say they are. Think reading and making notes & summary of each chapter and doing questions from question pack on each chapter is the way to go.

Don't risk failing them by doing them too soon. I take it you want to do F4 & F5 etc in the Autumn?

Yes, the first book seems very broad, I will find this one the toughest of the 3 given that I would be better at the calculations / math which you say there is more of in 2 & 3

I would aim for another couple of exams by year end if I get through these by June - I do believe from others experience that some of the later modules might require lectures

I think I should set a date and book an exam which should help with my lack of discipline - any ideas on where to sit exam?

On the same topic: If anyone knows were it is possible to sit F4 CBE in Dublin (besides IBAT college) I would really appreciate that.

Check out ACCA website - there is list of CBE Centres in ireland

That links to all CBE Centres in Ireland, most tuition providers listed - email them and see if they cater for your needs.
