I can't get my MBA to connect to the wifi on irish rail trains, roughly since I upgraded to Yosemite.
It picks up the wifi and seems connected but the accept terms and conditions screen never materialises. Opening safari just gets the 'you are not connected to the Internet' error. Other passengers seem to be able to connect, windows and Mac users

Have you tried another browser other than Safari? Have you pop-ups blocked through a third-party add-on such as AdAware?

No (to other browser) and no pop-up blockers
