another post from me in our hunt for a home. There is a house available in our area which is a 2 Bed Semi-Detached House. It is an old house with need of much work and modernisation. There is plenty of room for an extension so for this reason it still holds our interest. However the house that it attached to has not been lived in in years and is also in disrepair. There is a hole in part of the roof on the bottom right which is visible from the road. Obviously the bank would not lend us money to do the whole roof as part is belong to the other house. What kind of cost would be expected, just a general figure, for such a job. For 1) a whole new roof or 2) a repair job. Would the bank look less favourably on this house on account of the house next door.

I have a pic but don't know how to attach it here?
