Anyone Learning Chinese (Mandarin)

    Hi,

I'm learning Chinese and have been working away on it for almost two years now. I'm at what I would call upper intermediate level now.

A friend of mine - from China, living in Dublin for 12 years - is offering lessons to anyone that's interested. From beginner level to advanced.

I would also like to see if anyone is interested in joining a class with me where we literally go for a coffee and speak Chinese for a couple of hours every Saturday morning. It is a back and forth conversation in Chinese with some explanation in English when necessary, but mostly we're just speaking Chinese.

This lesson will take place in the IFSC in Dublin but if you're just interested in individual or beginner lessons they will also work out way cheaper and I'm finding it much more effective than group classes.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

    Sounds like a fantastic idea.

Unfortunately, I am only half way through my second 10 week course of Mandarin. I study during the week and do a bit on the side too but hopefully by the Summer I'll be able to attend and speak a small bit, and then just listen. At the moment I don't have much conversational ability.
