    Hi,

Need to get 15.6" screen replaced on an Acer laptop, emailed a few reputable computer repair shops in Dublin and got quoted €139 & €149.

Seems very expensive, especially when I can get screen bought & delivered for around half that.

Is it easy enough to fit a replacement screen for an ordinary Joe Soap?

    Thanks

the best thing to do is buy it on ebay as they are a fraction of the cost then hit youtube for your particular model repair

one thing to keep in mind is to document your screws as you take them out as they may be different sizes, I usually put double sided tape on an a4 page and document beside the screw
