Beware of some destinations

I make a point of educating myself about scams and I avoid destinations where they are most common. That is why I would never go back to London for example and as for Thailand, I have heard so many stories of scams there I would only go there if I had diplomatic immunity and was paid one million euro in advance (nearly all of which I would leave at home before travelling there).

This video is an example of a scam in Thailand. Watch and learn:

I've been to London countless times and never witnessed anything.

You can be scammed in the nearest town too OP.

If you keep your wits about you, you will be grand.

Too many people lower their guard on holidays or go overboard on minding their valuables.

Was walking down La Ramblas in Barcelona & people watching. Saw a person ahead of me frisking himself every 2 minutes. Knew precisely where his wallet/passport was if I was so inclined.

Stay under your bed at all times. Its not safe out there in the world.

The trick is when you travel to one of these places is to burn your money and passport as soon as you get there. That will show them scammers!

    You're a bundle of laughs.

Do you sleep with a flame thrower beside your bed ?

Alot more scammers in Ireland like the bankers, developers and Fianna Fail.

I heard there was a thread on boards once, that didn't have any mention of Bankers.

Can't seem to find it though. I think it's one of those urban legends.
