[wanted] Short term accommodation in Dublin (2 weeks)

    Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone could offer any advice on the following or have any information.

I need to stay in Dublin for roughly a 10 day - 2 week period in March as I will be up there sitting exams and so am looking for accommodation.

It doesn't need to be city centre or anything....I'm open to location but somewhere in West Dublin or close to the M50 would be handy.

I don't want to have to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks as it works out pretty expensive and as well as that it would be handy to have a fridge or somewhere to cook while studying.

I don't really know where to look apart from hotels. I've seen a few ads for short term let apartments on daft but these seem really expensive!

Would appreciate if anyone has any tips!

    Thanks.

    Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, I think I might have to go down that route but I'm afraid it will be a bit of a minefield!

    Staycity would be my preference.

Thanks! I checked this out and it works out at over €3k for my dates!

I think it is probably because it falls over St.Patrick's week so probably a very busy time for tourists.

Something like a guesthouse or b'n'b would probably be your best bet. Most will be amenable to a weekly rate if asked (although March might be tricky, for obvious reasons)
