BF mod tools. Venice Unleashed

    So there are some mod tools for BFBC2 and BF3. It's not official or anything but the BF3 tools are in closed beta atm. The tools have been created by reverse engineering which is impressive considering they have methods for running your own modded servers.

    I just heard about it so I'm not sure how good it is so be careful to read through the forums etc to make sure you don't break anything. You need an invite key to join servers so not much good now but there will be an open beta soon. The BFBC2 tools are called "Rome", BF3 tools are called "Venice". I think the BFBC2 tools are already available.

    I'm not going to download it until I've looked into it properly as I don't want to accidentally get banned for running modified content or something. It looks like the modded gamefiles are kept completely separate - but you never know so be careful!
