Anti-Partition Association

I was doing some research into family history. I came across the fact that one of my relatives wrote a play called "Won by a Whisker", and a second one called "Prelude to victory". The second one was put on by the "Anti Partition Association".

I was wondering if knew anything about this group? Are they still around? If they are gone, did their archives go anywhere?

    Thanks

There was an organization called the Irish Anti-Partition League. It was founded in 1948 by Northern Ireland Nationalist MPs Edward McAteer and Malachy Conlon. It wound up in 1958. Both politicians' papers are in the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland. You might find something about your relative's play there.
