    Hi there,

I'm very excited that I am about to order a Zeus Mini:

    http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/saved/887204

I have a few questions about the key components though.
    CPU:INTEL® Core™ i7-4790 Quad Core 3.60 GHz

    VIDEO:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB

HDD:250 GB Samsung 840 EVO SATA III Gaming MLC Solid State Disk (Single Drive)

MEMORY:8GB (2x4GB) DDR3/1866mhz Dual Channel Memory (HyperX Fury White w/Heat Spreader)

Heat Spreader)FAN:Corsair Hydro Series H55 Quiet Liquid Cooling system w/ 120mm Radiator (For Ultra Silent Operation -- Sharkoon Eagle SE Ultra Silent Modular Fan, 500-1200rpm (Custom PC Award Winning !!) ***Overclockable S&S***)

    1. I'm going for a 970 rather than a 980 for better price/performance. Does it make sense that I have also knocked the CPU down a notch from 4790K to 4790?

    2. Would I see a big performance boost in this rig from SSDs in raid 0?

    3. What sort of performance boost would 16GB of ram give me over 8GB?

    4. I am keen for quiet operation - is that my best cooling option?

    Thanks!

The only different between the 4790 and 4790k is that the latter can be overclocked.

The GTX970 has a way better performance per euro rating. They're not a world apart, the 970 is an excellent performer.

You're not going to see any difference in day to day usage if that's what you mean.

You would get zero performance increase in games or desktop use with 16gb vs 8gb, assuming gaming is the intention.

Google reviews of the different coolers. You will find the dB rating. Water cooling is not necessarily the quiet option.
