Hi, I made a investment the other day (1.1 trillion euros) mostly in government bonds.
The problem I have is I'm not sure how it will work out for me, you see two two and half years ago I kinda said I would do it, and I didn't want to be seen as a bluffer.
My best friend in Germany keeps giving out to me and saying I was wrong to do it, and my first cousin in Greece that I gave a loan to, says he doesn't want to pay it back.

Any views on what you think will happen much appreciated.

those who own financial and hard assets will benefit , those of no property or financial assets will see wages rise but this will be in many ways cancelled out my the increased cost of living

you wont be around by the time the chickens come home to roost and neither will your boss miss merkel

just print the money back if your greek cousin does not pay his debt. Then kick him out of your family and never speak to him again.

Did you win the nigerian lotto or was it a donation from an african prince?

Ciao, a little over a year later, and I'm still none the wiser. I kept asking for structural reforms at political level, and look at what I get... The P.I.I.G.S can't seem to put majority governments together, the Brits want out, and the Dutch wouldn't ratify the Ukraine treaty.
The Germans invited everyone and their mother to the house party, and then blamed the neighbours for lack of security.... And don't even get me stared about them bloody Greeks, I knew they wouldn't pay me back, I just knew it.
I tried my best, and just when I throw the kitchen sink at the job, sexy Janet finds out about my tryst with gorgeous Angela( cream and all) and kicks me in the goolies.
The banks are playing up again and I might have to help them out. I don't mind, bankers are a hoot, only they could think of Coco pops.
So I am stressed out, and again I would appreciate any views as to what I can do.

    Grazie,

    M.D

    P.S
My darling Janet it meant nothing, please forgive me, it is you I love.

Maybe invest in the US before 'The Donald' makes America great again ?

Well first you should pay off your credit card debt, then build up an emergency fund of 3-6 months expenses.

Then you should make sure you put the max into your pension and....doh!

    :)
