I see Dovea have their 2015 beef catalogue up on their website. Maybe someone could put up a link to it here.

Your wish is my command. A good few Limousins well proven for easy calving too. Something NCBC don't have.

I'm talking about 'out and out' easy calving, say for use on heifers to calf at 2 years.
EBY is 2.1% (90%) calving for example.

NCBC used to have FL22 in the old days. Nothing like that now.

Some interesting Bulls there from a limousin perspective. It's pity we can't get more French Bulls in AI here. The uk breeders have bred the milk out of the majority of their Bulls.

I give them a shake of nuts every day during the breeding season. When they get used to this they'll follow you into the yard when you need them in. It's an added expense but makes Ai a lot easier.
If your yard is well set up it's no problem to separate out the one you need.

I've been AI'ing Sucklers for the last 6 years or so. Feeding a few nuts even every second day will train them to come in. Also a few well placed ecetric fence runs help too. It can be done once you get the hang of it.
