Anyone familiar with Antoin Kreil (BBC Million Dollar Traders) and Instutrade?

Any people here who consider themselves trend followers?

Have just read the complete turtle trader and now reading trend following.

Antoin doesnt know how to trade so makes a living selling 3k Courses. I'd be very confident that Technical Analysis for Dummies at 9.99 is more beneficial than one of his courses

Would you mind elaborating on this please? From what I've researched and reading his CV and how instutrade operate would suggest otherwise.

Or is it 100% always the case that anyone who offers and charges for a trading course does so because they cannot make enough money trading themselves?

Pretty much. In my opinion you would be better off putting the 2 or 3k in a trading account and risking 0.5% per trade. With that risk management your capital will last a long time in fact you will probably never totally blow it. Write down everything good and bad as you trade with that money and you will learn more than Antion could ever teach you.

A mate of mine uses Ict as a mentor and swears by him. All his courses are free and he has no hidden agenda. I have not been through his material

Thanks- he does appear to be a master salesman.

I'm reading Trend Following at moment by Michael Covel after reading the complete turtle trader. Lots of resources on his website but also charges similar amounts for a course.

The nature v nurture debate is interesting.

You would come across the odd very good person on stocktwits (for US stocks) who give advice and charge nothing.

I also read the Turtle Trader fairly recently but IMO it doesn’t fully divulge anything resembling a winning formula
