Some great coverage of the 2015 X Games in Aspen so far.

Last night was the snowboard superpipe. IPod, White, Davis, Hiraoka all performed but the winning run was clear.

Tonight from 6 there'll be of snowboard X, snowboard slopestyle, snowboard X adaptive which is awesome to watch, ski superpipe elimination, snowboard big air and snowmobile long jump. Those guys are nuts.

Superpipe final is here to watch

This weekend is the start of the freeride world tour too. Haven't found anywhere online to watch it yet.

I'm actually a fan of his. Don't care what his personality is like. He came forth. Second run was his best but third was looking good before a bad landing took all his speed. Even with no speed he did an amazing trick. Find it on YouTube.

Davis won. His third run was so clean it looked like a White run. Effortless. Every landing was perfect. Hardly kicked up any snow. Hiraoka got second. He'll be the guy to beat in the future. He's now jumping as high as White. iPod was third but might of won if he'd landed his yolo. I still would of given it to Davis for his third run.

Can't stand him! Horrible creature, he has as much personality as a cactus. Thank God he got rid of his black leatherette style though, he looked like some sort of exotic spider on a snowboard.

When you compare his personality to the likes of Torstein Horgmo, the contrast is just too great to ignore. Regarding skills, Horgmo is easily up there with him. White is just an arrogant, humourless pratt and I find it difficult to overlook.

As an aside - I'm sure you have, but if you haven't, check out some of the spoof videos Horgmo makes with his 'manager', very funny stuff. :D

Horgmo is awesome and a funny guy but not on the same level as White in the pipe. White is the guy they all want to beat because he has a natural talent that they've worked at for years to emulate even if he's a douch as they say. That's also why the two kids from Japan will be the next thing. Big air or slope style and Horgmo could beat him but McMorris has taken the crown there.

His manager is a funny guy too.

He (Shaun White) seems to be at his best in the half pipe, Horgmo as you pointed out is at his best at big air. Suppose there's no point comparing the two of them from skill point of view as they're two completely different disciplines.

Would be nice to see Horgmo win something really big as he seems to be a likeable guy. Pity he hurt himself in the Olympic training sessions, and (one last speculative dig at the guy) White used that as an opportunity to drop out. :D

Horgmo has 3 x games gold and 3 silver. Last two years haven't been good. He got a 19 combined for big air on Fri compared to McMorris 88.

    Check out Horgmo's perfect 50 from 2012.

Don't forget there were complaints about the pipe in Sochi too. Fattes might know more. Plenty of people with bad landings in both the pipe and on the slope style course during practice. Both needed changing. Torah Bright was concussed twice in practice.

Did you hear Farrinton (gold in Sochi) has been forced to retire at 25?
