Hey guys I've recently got my licence and I'm trying to get quotes but some companies won't insure me because of being a young driver I've tried 123 and it redirected me to Kennco and I've tried a few others. Anyone know any good insurance companies that I could get a quote from please. I'd greatly appreciate it.

I remember when I had my provisional licence the only insurance company that would insure me under my own policy and under €1500 per year was Kennco and I got that through First Ireland.. you could try giving them a call? All depends on what kind of your car you're driving etc. etc. Best of luck anyways :)

You're better off ringing all of these companies, and get the best quote. Online systems are poor for newly qualified and/or young drivers.

Try AXA and Aviva - although with Aviva you will need to pass there ignition test first, but I've heard the discount is pretty nice

Try Campion Insurance. They are a broker and when I was 18 and driving a 1.4 Seat Leon on a provisional license, for TPFT I was paying 1759 euro.

    Now paying 1100 for a 2.0 HDI Peugeot 307.
