vamo5 - protank3 - low ohm

Going crazy, I lost my sid and just received the vamo v5. I am trying to use it with the protank mini 3, but it doesn't read the coil. It gives 0.0 ohms. I can use a protank 3 that I have and I hate because of great leakage. I believe for whatever reason it doesn't make contact. Any idea on how to solve the problem? going…

ok I know the problem is that it doesn't make contact.
what can I put in between?
something like tinfoil?? :P

Googled it and found this

"The connection at the top can sometime mess up which will cause the device to read a extremely low amount of ohms, this will also cause the device to stop working as it the circuit is programmed to not fire below 1.5 ohms. To fix this issue you will need to change the O ring inside of the connection which in my opinion is just a extremely bad manufacturing issue. "
