Feeding cats with different appetites

    We have 2 cats.

1 Jasper, a ginger greedy male who would, if given the opportunity, eat himself to a size where he literally would not fit through a cat flap!

2 Miss Pat, a petite female who likes to graze at her leisure and maintains her weight.

For several years we struggled to keep his weight down while keeping her suitably fed. They like to hang out together and the idea of feeding them in different rooms didn't appeal.

Eventually, we came up with a wonderfully simple solution:
We got a cardboard box and cut a hole in it big enough to give Miss Pat access but to exclude greedy Jasper. Miss Pat gets her food in the box. (well 2 boxes joined as Jasper could reach into the box and drag the bowl over to the opening and eat his fill - an extension was needed).
It's also a handy safe space when he decides to bully her.

This might be a useful solution for others.
