Guess it depends on how long it takes.
I'd rather be driving for an hour commuting a good 60 miles or so instead of spending an hour in crap traffic only getting a few miles to my workplace.

50 minute round trip....it beats the commute I used to have 4 hour round trip

I still have to do the 4 hour trip once a fortnight....that's OK, but I'd crack up having to do it everyday.
