I have an Ideal Classic Boiler (about 15 years old). Serviced last October and has always worked perfectly. Past few days it has been dripping water. Don't have a clue about any of this but the pressure gauge is showing 3 at the red hand and 0 at the black hand. What does this mean?

What that means is the boiler is over pressurising so more than likely the problem is in the expansion vessel either needs recharging or replacing.
Your going to need to call in a RGI for repairs
