Lol, there on excel at the moment, but double entry gets messy after a while, and it's very slow.

    Try www.surfaccounts.com
They have a basic package which is something like €8 per month. This will give you tb, aged debtors and creditors and nominal legder. You have to sign up for a minimum number of months which is something like three so it may suit to do what you want and then export everything to excel and deactivate account. Also support is very good with them.

Quickbooks is fairly good and is on sale at the minute at €119 ex VAT

    http://www.axonware.ie/quickbooks.htm

All reports can be easily exported to excel which can be useful at times & there's inbuilt P&L which can be formatted to your requirements.

I use www.quickfile.co.uk and it's free and fab.

Record my purchases and sales, and it does my accounts. Also has beneficial features like can email my invoices to clients, it wll auto email them reminders when they're overdue, etc.
