Electro Acoustic advice please!

A bit of advice needed. I used to gig a lot in Ireland acoustically and I had my own PA set up there that I had sounding great with my Garrisson GD 4CE played through a modified Acoustic setting on the Line 6 Pod XT live.

I moved abroad a few years ago and left my acoustic in Ireland as I still go back to gig sometimes and I went and bought an acoustic second hand for bashing around with here. It is a Cort SFX5 CRS with a fishman classic 4 pickup.

Anyway recently the opportunity presented itself for me to do a few gigs over here and as I won't be back in Ireland till summer at the earliest, this Cort is my only option for doing these small acoustic gigs. Unplugged it is not bad but I plugged it in and as you would imagine it doesn't sound great, it doesn't sound terrible at all but it is a bit tinny and I would like to give myself at least a fighting chance of creating a decent sound with it when amplified. I'll most likely be going directly into house PAs and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a decent acoustic fx pedal that might help me get a fuller sound. Equally if you feel I am fighting a losing battle, let me know. For the record I am a strummer and a fairly heavy one at that. I don't really do the fingerpicking stuff so it is overall amplified sound I am concerned with and not the individual picking stuff. Cheers.

Fishman spectrum aura might be the man, bit pricey though. Works as a DI so you can go straight to the PA and also provides tone control, tuner and modelling

Nice! I saw the aura 16 in my local music shop window. Does the aura 16 only work with an amp?

I'm sure it'll work just as well with a PA or with a guitar amp.
