    Hi lads,

There's four of us heading to Edinburgh for the Scotland v. Ireland game in March. I presume a few of ye have been to Murrayfield before. Just wondering if ye any tips for accommodation, we're not fussy, it'll be just a place to put the head down for a few hours at night :)

We arrive on the Friday and head home on the Monday.

Premier Inn in Haymarket, any of the Travelodges really, Dean Bridge, Rose Street etc.
There's a new one in Haymarket too called Tune, probably worth checking out.

Dont worry about staying in Murrayfield, enjoy the walk out and back or get the tram that now stops there.

Booked a twin room for the Fri and Sat night at Premier Inn on Prince's St. Pretty pricey for a budget hotel - £300 for the 2 nights without breakfast. So works out £75 each per night sharing. We'll take it given the weekend.

Have a look at hostels on Hostelworld as well. There were 8 of us went over before and stayed in one at the West end of Princes Street. Good location with the Grassmarket and Rose St nearby.

ANything from 4 bed dorms up to 12 bed dorms. Cheap, but if you just want somewhere to crash between drinking sessions it's not a bad idea.

Probably wouldn't want breakfast in there anyway!
Get yourself round the corner to Hanover Street to Urban Angel, Tana Modi and all those cafes for a decent, proper feed.

Cheers lads. The brother has decided to look at self-catering apartments now, working out at around €500 for the 3 nights so not too bad between 3 of us. Tis the drink will be the expensive part of the weekend. :-)
