I worked all year last year and was paying usc. But having checked my pay slips for this year i have not been paying usc. Is there any reason for this or is it a problem i need to get sorted.

You can be marked USC exempt in error based on your earnings two years previous (ie 2013). If you expect to earn more than 10,000 this year give Revenue a call and ask them to remove the USC exemption to avoid ending up with a bill at the end of the year.

How much did you earn last year? What do you expect to warn this year? If you are under the exemption limits you don't pay usc. Think exemption is 10,30e p/a.
