Ducting Questions

I have a couple of issues I need advice on.

    1) I have a 4" extractor fan coming from bathroom to a roof vent. My ducting is 4" (102mm) but the roof cowl seems to be 110mm. I have tried a few places for a reducer but can't find one. I don't want to change the roof vent either. Any ideas?

    2) My waste vent from toilet goes up into attic and then over to roof vent, the waste pipe and vent are 110mm but they were connected by flexible ducting for the last half metre. However the flex was filling with water so I am replacing it and taking the sag out of it. Similar to above. I either need 2 adaptors (110-102) or a piece of flex duct 110mm. I don't want to arse around with rigid waste pipe. Any ideas?

    Cheers for advice.

A ducting metal shop will make you up an adapter to suit exactly what you need. Alternatively you can cut rings of Sewer or Duct pipe to make up the difference in Diameter required. glue it with Wavin Weld.

Brilliant, found a shop in Nangor that made me adaptors. Good advice, Batman.
