South East Asia in September

    Hi all,

A few of us are planning on heading to South East Asia in September for 3 or 4 months, but have absolutely no idea where to start with the itinerary etc. The places we have in mind are: Thailand, neighbouring Thai islands (Koh Samui, Phuket etc.), Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, and maybe Burma. We're also wary that September is rainy season in the majority of the places I've listed above, although some of the blogs and stuff I've read said that rainy season isn't too bad at all. In short, my head is melted.

Can anyone recommend what order to visit these places in if we were going from September to December based on experience? Or any other places I've left out above that we should definitely be going to?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
