My Moto G keeps shutting itself off and I'm tired of only having 8GB of internal space.

I think €350 is a good price for the One and it's about the max I can spend right now.

    Convince me not to.

That's an option if I miss tonight.

It's ok on Three though, right?

EDIT: Yes, I think. The One supports LTE Band 3 and so does Three Ireland.

It's ok on the Three 1800Mz band. They are introducing band 8 (900Mz) now for better indoor coverage and it won't work with that. Most of their 4g is sill 1800Mz though.

I have a one plus one and am on 3,it works great. The only real issues I see is customer care/after support. I updated the phone and it went into a boot loop, if I waited for OPO to sort it it would have been 2.5 weeks without a phone. If you break it and need it fixed there seems to be a 4-6 week return time. So really you're getting an exceptional spec phone with some iffy aftercare. I have a cover, I should get a screen protector but lazy. I'd say get one, I don't regret it.

Yeah, Vodafone use band 20 (800Hz) according to their CS Manager

    Also Wiki backs that up

Meteor use both Band 3(1800Hz) and Band 20(800Hz) according to their CS rep http://forums.meteor.ie/t5/Meteor-4G-Getting-started/What-LTE-4G-frequency-bands-does-Meteor-use/td-p/135724

Same again for a second time.:mad:

Might just buy through Amazon as they seem to be available through that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,900 ✭✭✭daytob

why dont you just buy with an invite and change the flag down the bottom to uk? then ship it to parcel motel, like what most of us did. they couldnt even give away invites last week

if you buy from amazon you might get stung with customs. and it might just be color os
