Just wondering what it would cost to knock down an existing 100sq m house to build a new one in its place. Planning on site requires it.

Is it a two story?Whats the volume of the building? work that out and allow around €60/m3 as a budget, if its traditional cavity block.

Your best bet is to ring a few builders and ask them to be honest for a ball park figure.

Things like poor access etc will drive that cost up

Its a bungalow so not sure of m3 dimensions. Easy access to it. 8k was quoted. Thought it was dear.

If it includes carting away the material to a licenced fill etc then id jump on that!
